About Müesser Yeniay
Müesser Yeniay is a Turkish poet, translator, and author active in the international world of literature. She was born in Izmir, Turkey, in 1984, and acquired a Master’s degree in Turkish literature from Bilkent University and a degree from Ege University in English Language and Literature. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Turkish literature at Bilkent University, Ankara.
Müesser has won several literary awards, including the Yunus Emre (2006), Homeros Attila Ílhan (2007), Ali Riza Ertan (2009), and Enver Gökçe (2013). She was also nominated for the Pushcart Prize 2016 by Muse Pie Press in the United States. Müesser’s poems have appeared in the following magazines: Actualitatea Literara, Revista Luceafarul (Romania), The Voices Project, The Bakery, Sentinel Poetry, Yellow Medicine Review, Shot
