Mundus Artium Press is honored to announce Ukrainian poet and scholar Dmytro Chystiak as the recipient of the 2025 Gjenima Prize for Literature. Recognized internationally, Chystiak’s poetry weaves profound introspection with vivid imagery, juxtaposing intimate reflection with stark narratives of conflict and resilience. His extensive oeuvre—spanning nearly 100 publications across poetry, literary translation, and scholarship—has garnered numerous prestigious international awards.
A distinguished cultural diplomat, Chystiak serves as Secretary of the European Academy of Sciences, Arts, and Letters in Paris, and is deeply involved with the National Writers’ Union of Ukraine. His tireless commitment to international dialogue and cultural diplomacy has been particularly vital where his efforts have significantly contributed to global awareness and cultural solidarity.
Awarding the Gjenima Prize to Chystiak underscores a meaningful gesture of support for Ukrainian culture in these turbulent times, affirming literature’s power to bridge divides and champion peace amid adversity.
